About The Position

Certifications : BLS

EKG certification preferred

Must-Have :

Completion of a technical program in a medical field

Effective communication skills

Ability to instruct patients on activities and diary while on the Holter Monitor

Accurate patient identification

Preparation of equipment

Proper skin preparation for lead placement

Obtaining 12 lead EKG / ECG

Description :

13 weeks, 40 hours per week.

Monday to Friday from 08 : 00 to 17 : 00.

No call, weekends, or floating.

The role requires the ability to instruct patients during testing.

Experience with Holter monitors and cardiac event monitors is necessary.

Candidates will provide patient care in various age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

The position requires strong patient assessment skills and effective communication with healthcare team members.

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in lead placement and vital sign monitoring.

Recognition of artifact and patient instruction on monitoring activities is essential.

This role includes collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy.

Candidates will be expected to complete compliance and credentialing requirements within designated timeframes.
