Emergency Medicine Physician

A hospital in the Pittsburgh area is in need of 2-3 locums physicians to provide a few shifts each month. They need a total of 14 shifts / month spread between all the physicians . Details : Location : in Pittsburgh, PA Setting : Emergency Dept 31,025 annual volume (85 pts / day) 4 physician shift and 2 APP shifts daily (single coverage from 2a-8a, 2-4 provider coverage all other times) Consult services : pulm / crit care, ortho, gen surg, infectious disease, neuro, tele-stroke, vascular surgery Start : ASAP (temp and emergency privileges available, can start in 30 days) Length : 6 months Minimum 5 shifts / month Schedule : 11a-9p, 2p-10p, 2p-11p, 6p-2a, 9p-6a (8-10 hr shifts) Required : Board certified / board eligible emergency medicine, internal medicine, or family medicine 5 years of ER experience Active PA license Compensation : 1099 contract paid weekly pay negotiable 100% of malpractice insurance covered Local candidates preferred but travel can be included if needed
