Schedule Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Same Day Surgery Center, primarily focusing on Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) duties. The RN will be responsible for managing the admission and discharge of surgical / procedure patients, performing nursing admission assessments, and providing Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia care. The role requires strong assessment, IV, and patient education skills, as well as the ability to multitask and communicate effectively with nursing and physician colleagues. Responsibilities Manage the admission and discharge processes for surgical / procedure patients. Conduct nursing admission assessments and provide Phase I and II post-anesthesia care. Assist in preparing the operating room for surgery and provide patient support. Administer IV medications and perform IV starts as required. Coordinate with team members to ensure high-quality patient care and education. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in Same Day Surgery or PACU. Experience working in a rural outpatient facility is preferred. Must have Phase I and II PACU experience. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Experience with Cerner EMR is necessary.
