Company : Prodigy Property Management
About the Role :
Prodigy Property Management is seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Asset Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of one of our vibrant apartment communities, which includes a diverse portfolio of multifamily, single-family, and townhome-style units. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring that the community operates efficiently, achieves financial performance goals, and maintains an exceptional standard of living for residents. The Community Asset Manager will serve as both an operational leader and a community ambassador-fostering a welcoming environment, managing on-site teams, and safeguarding the physical and financial integrity of the asset.
Key Responsibilities :
The Community Asset Manager oversees all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, resident relations, vendor coordination, and compliance. This position requires a balance of strategic planning and hands-on management to achieve occupancy and revenue goals while upholding Prodigy Property Management's high standards for customer service and asset performance.
You will guide on-site staff to ensure superior service delivery and effective communication between residents, team members, and ownership. Strong administrative, organizational, and financial management skills are essential, as the role involves preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, analyzing market trends, and optimizing NOI.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment that demands problem-solving, adaptability, and leadership. In this role, you will also ensure compliance with building codes, local regulations, and company policies, while maintaining an attractive and safe property through proactive facility and grounds management.
Qualifications :
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience in property management, multifamily housing operations, or community association management is highly desirable. Familiarity with property management software, budget administration, and vendor management is also beneficial.
Successful candidates will possess strong leadership abilities, a customer-focused mindset, and a proactive approach to solving challenges. Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance operations is helpful to support collaboration with service and maintenance teams.
Work Environment :
This position requires a blend of office and on-site presence, including routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and common areas. The Community Asset Manager should be comfortable engaging in light physical activity such as walking the property, inspecting units, and performing minor housekeeping or staging tasks as needed. The ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, and use hands for extended periods is required. The Community Asset Manager must also have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as regular travel between properties is required to inspect units, conduct site visits, and show homes to prospective residents. Dependable mobility is essential to ensuring responsive management and consistent on-site presence across the community.

Eligible employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, voluntary life coverage, flexible spending accounts (FSA), and a 401(k) retirement plan. Performance incentives and opportunities for professional growth further enhance our commitment to employee success.
