Full Time Cart / Container Delivery Driver - CDL Trainee

Earn $$$ delivering containers while you earn your CDL. Training & licensing through WCS is available to interested candidates.

Take and pass the Class B permit test at your local Driver's License Exam Station. WCS will provide hands-on experience driving our trucks, access to the online coursework required, behind-the-wheel experience with a qualified driver, and the truck and elements required for you to test for your CDL.

Once you have earned your CDL, you would be qualified to drive for WCS in one of these roles : Local Route Driver, Roll Off Driver, Semi / Tractor Trailer Driver.

Minimum qualifications : Must be at least 18 years of age, legally eligible to work in the United States, successfully complete and pass applicable pre-employment background check, driving record, physical and drug screening, ability to perform the physical requirements and demands of the position.

Education : High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience : 2 years or more of relevant work experience in transportation, driving or logistics is preferred, but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Ability to operate large, heavy-duty vehicles. Required certificates, licenses, or registrations : Current Minnesota Class D Driver's License is required. Ability to provide or acquire a current Class A or Class B Minnesota Commercial Driver's License / Permit, including air-brakes, without restrictions (WCS will provide the means to become licensed to qualified candidates). Ability to provide or obtain a current Health Card (MEC).

Additional notes : This position will require successful completion of applicable background check, driving record and drug screening.
