Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,990 - $2,130 Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Duration : 13-week contract (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026) Hours : 36 hours per week guaranteed Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (all shifts available) Unit : Emergency Room (12 ER rooms, 2 Trauma rooms, 5 Urgent Care rooms) Charting System : EPIC (EPIC training provided during orientation) Orientation : 3 days of department orientation Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Preferred : Experience with EPIC charting system Ability to pass ESI ENA triage test (80% or higher required for triage role) Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting ER RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Room (average 60-80 patients / day, including urgent care) Perform triage, assessments, and interventions following ESI ENA guidelines Administer medications, IV drips (Heparin, sedation, pressors), and treatments as ordered Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, LPNs, nurse techs, and other healthcare professionals Participate in team nursing and provide support to urgent care as needed Assist with patient transport, including accompanying critical patients to radiology Accurately document patient care in EPIC Maintain a safe environment, including care for psychiatric patients in a designated psych room Work rotating shifts, including 2 weekends per month and holidays as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Ashland, Wisconsin, and take the next step in your nursing career!
