This role includes a director opportunity, supporting pathology services across three community hospitals with autonomy in various case types. Seeking an experienced Board Certified Pathologist to join fantastic team in southern Delaware. CP Boarded required, other subspecialties welcome, especially Dermatopathology and Hematopathology. The group is well-respected in the community and has been providing outstanding quality pathology services for the past 25 years.

Details :

• Director opportunity available as well
• Team consists of 10 pathologists supporting the pathology departments at 3 community hospitals and several surgical centers.
• Building a relationship with the community of doctors is key.
• Call : Rotating call schedule but very rarely being called in might be called in for gift of life / organ donor call or blood bank question.
• Autopsy rotation not a lot they maybe get 5 a year.
• Volume : 17k cases last year; 52k procedures last year
• Open door policy among all staff and pathologists
• Work on any type of case
• Lots of autonomy
