Program Manager, Lead
The Opportunity :
As a weapon systems program manager, your knowledge is key when it comes to planning, designing, and building critical weapon systems ensuring an effective national defense. The primary objective of this requirement will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions.
You will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals and will be responsible for leading all phases of the program life cycle from inception through startup, execution, and completion. You'll assume the responsibilities of the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems, including working seamlessly with the team to cultivate customer relationships, developing strategic plans and operating in an Agile environment, establishing a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements, and collaborating across teams to ensure effectiveness. You will lead and direct cross functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives, while measuring and reporting program performance, delivering presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders, assisting in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions. You will establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test, and be responsible for identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements. You will establish and manage program and subordinate baselines, analyze and adhere to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost and schedule control methodologies and tools, and identify, allocate and manage program resources, including workforce planning. Further, you will manage government and customer supplied property or information suppliers to meet program objectives and adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.
As a program manager you will ensure the program team understands and adheres to contract scope, and manages change through control board activities, develop and adhere to master plans and schedules, and conduct thorough risk and opportunity management practices, including identification, mitigation, and realization.

Compensation :
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
