Duties :

Prepares patient for EEG exam, applies electrodes to patient's head, operates and maintains appropriate equipment, identifies tracing, prepares records.

Skills :

One (1) year of EEG Technologist experience.

Education :

High school diploma or its educational equivalent, approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization, AND - One (1) year of experience as an Electroencephalograph Technician in a hospital or health care setting.

OR -Satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience, where Certificate of Completion from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) recognized training program.

OR -Graduate from Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited program may be substituted for one (1) year of experience, as described in #1 above.

Required Certifications & Licensure :

Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Schedule Notes :

8 : 00 AM-4 : 30 PM

7 X 5 = 37.50 hours / week
