Seeking a skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team on a locum tenens basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of orthopaedic procedures and be comfortable working in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Perform surgeries and procedures such as ORIF, TFN, Bipolar vs Total Hemiarthroplasty, amputations, hip fractures, tibia and fibula fractures, knee fractures, infection, I&D, and BKA's.

Surgical clinic (M-F 8 to 5) + beeper call

Participate in rounding and manage an average of 3-5 patients per shift.

Handle phone consults and admissions as required.

Trauma Level III

EMR : Cerner

Requirements :

GA license & DEA, Active and Unrestricted (NO IMLC LOQ)

BC-Orthopedic Surgery

BLS, ACLS (Preferred)

No malpractice claims over $1 million.

COMPENSATION :

Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing and transportation needs, etc.)

Malpractice insurance provided
