About the Role :

The Senior Procurement Specialist at Amiad USA Inc in NC01 plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the procurement processes within the manufacturing sector. This position is responsible for sourcing high-quality materials and services at competitive prices to support production schedules and company objectives. The role involves developing strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Senior Procurement Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and finance to align procurement strategies with operational needs. Ultimately, this role aims to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and contribute to the overall profitability and sustainability of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in supplier negotiation and contract management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) preferred, but not required if verifiable experience substitutes.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with international sourcing and import / export regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service criteria.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
  • Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any supply chain issues to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and align purchasing strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports on purchasing activities and cost savings.
  • Stay informed about market trends, new products, and innovations to recommend improvements in procurement processes.
  • Skills :

    The Senior Procurement Specialist utilizes negotiation and analytical skills daily to secure the best value from suppliers while maintaining quality standards.
