Fairfax Library Branch Clerk Job at Atchisoncounty in Rock Port

The Atchison County Library is seeking a friendly, dependable, Part-Time Branch Clerk to assist with daily library operations.

Position : Fairfax Library Branch Clerk

Duties include checking books in and out, shelving materials, assisting patrons, handling basic clerical tasks, and keeping the branch orderly and welcoming. Must have exceptional communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to lift books / boxes as needed.

Tentative Schedule : Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9 : 00 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m., Thursdays, 1 : 00 p.m. – 7 : 00 p.m. (with opportunities for extra hours).

Requirements : High school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and excellent customer service skills. Library or education field experience a plus.
