Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Hazlehurst, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and maintain visibility throughout the site. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the food and beverage production environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and management regarding security-related matters.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help maintain authorized access to the location.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
