Managers lead the shift, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead departments. These managers may :

  • Manage assigned systems, like training, food safety, and inventory management.
  • Set goals, delegate tasks to their teams, follow up, and report results.
  • The Guest Service Department Manager's responsibilities may include :

  • Making sure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience.
  • Ensuring sales promotions are done well.
  • Training all service staff in service procedures.
  • Organizing the Front Counter McCaf and Drive-Thru areas for the best service.
  • The Kitchen Department Manager's responsibilities may include :

  • Ensuring the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, and fast.
  • Ensuring food is always safe.
  • Controlling food cost.
  • Training all kitchen staff in production procedures.
  • The People Department Manager's responsibilities may include :

  • Ensuring the restaurant hires qualified crew.
  • Training them well.
  • Scheduling them to meet sales and profit goals.
  • Ensuring crew get off to a good start at the restaurant and are recognized and motivated.
  • We're looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who like to have fun, with the passion to work the famously fast-paced McDonald's environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in the restaurants. A minimum of 2 years of QSR Shift Management experience is required.
