Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cath Lab Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2-3 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma acute cardiac cath lab and current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. Responsibilities Acute care Level 1 trauma setting in a cardiac cath lab Unit features 8 fluoro procedure rooms and 1 minimally invasive room without fluoro Work involves scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring peripheral / vascular cases, right and left heart caths, device cases, and EP procedures Equipment includes XIM (Witt / Philips), Epic EMR, Pyxis, Xcelera, Siemens, and Philips fluoro systems 4x10 hour day shifts with varying start times (5 : 30 AM, 6 : 30 AM, 7 : 30 AM) On-call requirement is 1-2 calls per week and 1 weekend call every 3-4 weeks, with a 30-minute response time No floating to other departments Primary duties include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring cardiac cath and EP lab cases Orientation includes focused training on XIM monitoring and scrub / circulate functions Ceil blue scrubs are provided Must badge in and out at facility Applicants with prior employment at any Sanford Health location must have ended that employment at least 6 months prior to consideration Local candidates residing within 80 miles may be considered at a different compensation rate Requirements Minimum 2-3 years recent cath lab technologist experience Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required RCIS or RCES certification preferred Epic experience preferred License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614088.
