Summary
SUMMARY
The SLH Occupational Therapist II plans and administers medically prescribed occupational therapy treatment for patients with mental, physical or emotional disabilities to restore function and to facilitate rehabilitation. Assists in the development of special techniques and equipment, provides the full-range of occupational therapy services. The SLH Occupational Therapists II typically carry a caseload in addition to their supervisory responsibilities. Performs related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Possession of a Bachelors Degree, certification or Masters Degree from an approved school of occupational therapy.
Minimum Experience
One year of full-time experience in the class of Occupational Therapist I with Alameda Health System; OR two years of full-time experience as an occupational therapist in another facility in physical disabilities or psycho-social dysfunction.
Required Licenses / Certifications
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification issued by the American Heart Association. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit / department specialty according to patient care policies.

Current Licensure with the California Board of Occupational Therapy as an Occupational Therapist.
Pay Range :
$46.35 - $77.25 / Hour
The pay range for this position reflects the base pay scale for the role at Alameda Health System. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidates experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, departmental equity, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the operational needs of the organization.
