Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and calibrated as per manufacturer standards. Document and maintain records of equipment maintenance and sterilization processes. Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations in the reprocessing area. Assist in the training and orientation of new staff in endoscope reprocessing techniques. Certifications : Certification in Central Processing (CPD) required. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred. Education : High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sterile processing preferred. Experience : 1-3 years of experience in endoscope reprocessing or a similar sterile processing role. Skills : Knowledge of infection control practices and OSHA standards. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
