Now Hiring Painters in the Mars, PA Area!!!

We are seeking a skilled Painter with extensive experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Read work orders and related documentation to stage products for painting.
  • Prepare products for painting, including cleaning and masking.
  • Prepare and mix 2-part epoxy paint for use in booths and hand spray guns.
  • Apply paint to various-sized parts, components, and valves.
  • Operate sandblaster machines, paint booths, and handheld paint spray guns.
  • Operate fusion bond epoxy and ovens when necessary.
  • Evaluate paint results for quality and make necessary decisions.
  • Troubleshoot to improve product appearance if needed.
  • Maintain and clean paint equipment, and adjust paint viscosity as necessary.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of the paint line, dispose of hazardous waste, and check chemical levels.
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
  • Utilize SAP software for operations.
  • Engage in lean activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, such as masks or respirators.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills

  • Over two years of painting experience.
  • At least one year of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, micrometers, calipers, and blueprints.
  • Ability to identify colors accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Capacity to manage priorities and workflow efficiently.
  • Ability to work on complex projects with minimal guidance.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with industrial painting, sanding, blasting, sandblasting, powder coating, and spray gun techniques.
  • Experience with paint preparation and finish assembling.
  • Understanding of safety requirements and precautions.
  • Preferred experience using SAP software.

    Work Environment

    Work in a medium-sized manufacturing facility with approximately 60 employees across two plants. The environment is occasionally noisy but typical for a manufacturing setting. The assembly area can be somewhat crowded with parts on the ground. Safety is paramount; steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses are mandatory.     Job Type & Location

    This is a Permanent position based out of Mars, Pennsylvania.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43680.00 / yr.
