About the Nurse Aide Trainee Program :
The program runs three weeks, Monday through Friday, generally 7 : 00am3 : 00pm (hours may vary)Weeks 1 & 2 : Classroom instructionWeek 3 : Clinical hands-on training alongside licensed cliniciansUpon successful completion, you'll be certified as a CNA your pay and status will be upgraded accordinglyElderwood covers your CNA certification exam fees and required onboarding (e.g., PPD test, physical exam)Until training begins, you'll be assigned a trainee shift working under supervision to gain experienceApply Today start your journey to becoming a CNA with paid training and a supportive team by your side. CNA Training Track Responsibilities :
Assist with resident transport to dining, activities, therapy, and treatment areasMake unoccupied beds and keep resident rooms tidyHelp with dining services : passing trays, opening containers, and distributing supplemental nourishmentSupport informal activities on the nursing unit when time permitsProvide fresh water to residents as directedClean resident equipment and maintain neat common areasObserve and report any unusual incidents or resident needs to therapists or nursesCNA Training Track Qualifications :
Must be at least 16 years oldHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredEmployment Certificate / Permit required for ages 16-17No history of resident abuse, mistreatment, or property misappropriationGenuine interest in caregiving and a strong work ethicAbility to follow instructions and work well in a team environmentEOE Statement
