Overview
THE QUALITY SENIOR ENGINEER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING TIMELY AND EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF ALL COMPANY'S POLICIES, PROCEDURES, AND ACTIVITIES INVOLVED IN ASSURING THE QUALITY OF MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS. SHE / HE MAINTAINS CLOSE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE QUALITY & SQE MANAGER IN ORDER TO MEET AND MAINTAIN PRODUCT QUALITY, IDENTIFY, SOLVE AND PREVENT PROBLEMS AFFECTING PRODUCT QUALITY, MAXIMIZE PRODUCTIVITY, AND COMPLY WITH REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. SHE / HE WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO OPERATE STANDARD OFFICE EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING A COMPUTER, AND WILL DESIGN AND UTILIZE COMPUTER REPORTS AND OUTPUT. IN THE ABSENCE OF THE QUALITY & SQE MANAGER, THE QUALITY SENIOR ENGINEER WILL BE REQUIRED TO ORGANIZE, COORDINATE, AND REPORT QUALITY ENGINEERING FUNCTIONS IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF QUALITY. SHE / HE REPORTS TO THE QUALITY & SQE MANAGER AND / OR THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT(HOD).

LEADERSHIP SKILLS CAN HELP YOU MOTIVATE YOUR TEAM AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO WORK TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE COMPANY GOALS. LEADERSHIP CAN ALSO HELP YOU GUIDE YOUR TEAM TO MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS AND TAKE ACTION WHEN NECESSARY.
COMMUNICATION IS ANOTHER SKILL THAT'S IMPORTANT FOR QUALITY SENIOR ENGINEER TO HAVE. YOU MAY USE THIS SKILL TO COMMUNICATE WITH EMPLOYEES, HODS AND OTHER MANAGERS. YOU MAY ALSO USE IT TO COMMUNICATE WITH CLIENTS AND CUSTOMERS. YOU CAN USE COMMUNICATION TO RELAY INFORMATION, ANSWER QUESTIONS AND PROVIDE FEEDBACK.
PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS ALLOW QUALITY SENIOR ENGINEER TO IDENTIFY ISSUES AND DEVELOP SOLUTIONS TO THEM. THEY MAY USE THESE SKILLS TO IDENTIFY QUALITY ISSUES IN A PRODUCTION PROCESS AND DEVELOP A PLAN TO RESOLVE THEM. THEY MAY ALSO USE PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS TO IDENTIFY AND ADDRESS EMPLOYEE CONCERNS OR ISSUES THAT MAY AFFECT PRODUCTIVITY.
QUALITY SENIOR ENGINEER MAKE DECISIONS ABOUT THE QUALITY OF PRODUCTS, PROCESSES AND SERVICES. THEY MAY ALSO MAKE DECISIONS ABOUT THE BEST WAY TO HANDLE EMPLOYEE ISSUES, CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS AND OTHER CHALLENGES. QUALITY SENIOR ENGINEER SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE DECISIONS QUICKLY AND CONFIDENTLY. THEY SHOULD ALSO BE ABLE TO EXPLAIN THEIR REASONING TO OTHERS.
WORKING WITH OTHERS CAN HELP QUALITY SENIOR ENGINEER DEVELOP STRATEGIES AND IMPROVE PROCESSES. THEY CAN USE TEAMWORK SKILLS TO COLLABORATE WITH THEIR TEAM TO IDENTIFY AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT AND DEVELOP ACTION PLANS TO ADDRESS THEM. QUALITY SENIOR ENGINEER CAN ALSO USE TEAMWORK SKILLS TO MOTIVATE THEIR TEAM AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO WORK TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE COMMON GOALS.
