Overview : Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Under these agreements, we are providing our clients with assistance in the development and implementation of web based technology, software (custom-designed and off-the-shelf), databases, LANs, WANs and hardware. In addition to these services, we are also providing our clients with technical writing, training and support services. Position Name : Business Analyst Location : Baltimore, Maryland Hours : 8 – 5 pm (one hour lunch), after hours and weekends as required Employment Status : FULL TIME Qualifications : Equivalent related experience or a Bachelor’s degree required. 2+ to 5 years of experience Requirements : Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office.​ Must be able to multi-task effectively. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Possess excellent troubleshooting skills. Must also be able to pass a security background check and pass a for-cause and pre-employment drug test. Responsibilities : Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Improve business processes and supports critical business strategies by directing the development, implementation and maintenance of business applications systems. Formulate business systems architecture plans, estimate costs and ensure projects meet strategic goals and needs. Oversee the operation, maintenance and procedures of the organization's business systems. Ensure that consistent practices are used throughout development to maintain the integrity of the systems. Collaborate with IT and other departments to meet business requirements. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organization's business requirements and meet the needs of end users. Define systems requirements based on user and client needs, cost and required integration with existing applications, systems and / or platforms. Define technical standards and functionality tests.
