Associate Attorney

Bliss Law Firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Family Law Attorney to join our family. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, criminal, and family law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. The Associate Attorney will work collaboratively within our law office to provide high-quality legal services to our clients.

• Duties
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements adhering to Washington state Family Law policies.
• Represent clients in negotiations and litigation proceedings, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.
• Provide legal advice on matters related to Family Law.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases while managing a caseload independently.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all case-related activities.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients' cases.
• Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar association and good standing.
• Willing to accept Rule 9 applicants.
• Strong understanding of various areas of law including estate planning, family law, litigation, and more.
• Proven negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
• Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting.
• Familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw is preferred.
• Prior experience in a law office setting is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay : $90,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year
