Position Summary

The Field Applications Engineer (FAE) works closely with the Cannon North Americas Sales team and directly with customer engineers to recommend products and technical solutions for new design applications. The FAE engages with the customer's engineering team to identify system design requirements and unmet technical challenges, and leads the solution development to meet the customer's needs. The FAE leads technical identification and product development, coordinating activities with internal functions including sales, product management, engineering, and operations to ensure success from concept through production. The FAE provides design solutions, models, technical proposals and prototypes, acting as the lead engineering point of contact with the customer to secure new designs.

The FAE reports to the Senior Product Manager for Transportation & Industrial North America.

The position is fully remote and supports the Texas region.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide product and technical solutions capability presentations to customers
• Primary point of contact between customer engineering and internal cross functional team
• Manage and coordinate multiple activities related to Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Operational support
• Build relationships with customer technical community to :

The salary offered is based on factors including candidate experience, location, market and business considerations, and may include a robust total rewards package.

Equal Pay Act Range

Annual salary range is from $90,600.00 to $135,400.00, plus benefits and incentive plan.
