Anesthesiology Physician

StartDate : ASAP Pay Rate : $315.25 - $341.25

This facility is seeking multiple Anesthesiology Physicians for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity :

• Call & requirements : In-house call required; schedule is Monday–Friday with 10- and 12-hour shifts; physicians must be willing to take call; rotation is 1 : 4; coverage is also needed at Chippenham and Tri Cities if required
• Supervision vs independent : 1 : 4 care team model; physicians perform their own cases approximately 40% of the time
• EMR : Medaxion (iPad-based system used across Commonwealth Anesthesia Associates sites)
• Certifications required : Board Certification in Anesthesiology required; ACLS and BLS required; must be participating in Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
• Number of operating rooms : 16 ORs in the Main OR; 2 additional C-section ORs in Labor & Delivery; anesthesia also provided in endoscopy, IR, gamma knife, MRI, CT, and additional Atrium ORs
• License required or accepting IMLC : Active Virginia license required at time of submission; not accepting IMLC
