Position : Labor & Delivery RN

Shift : 6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM, every other weekend

Requirements : BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM, IN license, 2+ years acute care RN experience

Education : Diploma or Associate in Nursing

Certifications : Registered Nurse (required); Norton Clark L&D (desired)

Unit :

L&D with 7 labor rooms, 4 triage rooms, 3 recovery bays, 2 OR suites

NICU & L&D training via SCRUBEX machine (2 credits)

Average deliveries : 80–100 per month

Charting : EPIC; EFM system : OBTraceVue

Key Responsibilities :

Provide safe, patient- and family-centered care using evidence-based practice

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

Educate patients and families on care and discharge

Delegate and supervise licensed and non-licensed staff; mentor and precept new staff

Participate in quality improvement, safety, and practice governance initiatives

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs and promote positive outcomes
