Pay Information

$125 to $150 per hour

About The Position

Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant - Illinois, 3-4 Weeks Per Month

Inpatient cardiothoracic locums in Urbana, Illinois; consistent weekday schedule with optional call coverage.

Highlights

  • Work 3-4 weeks / month; steady blocks available
  • Join a collaborative team of 5 advanced practice providers
  • Start as early as this fall

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient CV surgery team; no clinic duties
  • Team includes a CV supervisor, OP-RN, and APPs
  • Epic EMR system

    • Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM-4 : 00 PM
  • Optional weeknight or weekend call (TBD)
  • Long-term potential with flexible start dates

    • Cases and Procedures

  • General cardiac surgeries : CABG, AVR, MVR, ECMO
  • First-assist in OR; EVH preferred but not required
  • Pre- and post-op rounding and inpatient care

    • Requirements

  • PA-C with active Illinois license
  • ACLS certification required

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Flights, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
