Position Overview :

Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and compassionate Licensed School Nurse (LSN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated team of educators and support staff in the White Bear Lake area. This position is full-time and will run through November 12, 2025 . The nurse will serve in a general school nursing capacity, supporting both students and staff with day-to-day medical needs, health assessments, and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct care to students and staff, including first aid, illness management, and chronic condition support

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policy

Maintain accurate health records and documentation

Collaborate with school staff, families, and external health providers as needed

Monitor and respond to communicable disease concerns within the school community

Support health education and wellness initiatives

Comply with all state and federal regulations regarding student health and safety

Caseload :

General school nursing support for a diverse student population

Responsible for daily care and health plan oversight for both students and staff

Qualifications :

Active RN license in the state of Minnesota (LSN credential preferred)

Prior experience in a school setting, pediatric environment, or public health is highly preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage confidential health information in compliance with HIPAA / FERPA regulations
