About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Profession : RN

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required

License : Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring

Must-Have :

• Must live 50 miles away
• Cerner experience required

Description :

The patient population includes females of childbearing years.

Candidates should be comfortable working with pregnant patients at 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, scheduled procedures including C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage.

Triage issues should be addressed as necessary.

The activities on the unit include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries (both vaginal and C-section).

Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes fetal monitors and Cerner and Fetalink documentation.
