Responsibilities :

• Review and become knowledgeable of project plans and specifications to plan procedures and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
• Assist in the development of project schedule with specific focus on individual task durations.
• Review all drawings, i.e. shops, architectural, structural, etc. when they are issued to the field. Coordinate and maintain a current set of drawings at all times.
• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from start-up to completion.
• Schedule and coordinate work.
• Determine materials, equipment and tools needed.
• Track and input time for crew members.
• Maintain daily documentation : Daily reports, Bid Hours Sheet and Material Log.
• Create and provide a two-week lookahead schedule for each DBSP Foreman meeting.
• Assist in ensuring customer satisfaction with the project.
• Schedule weekly tool box talks and serve as an on-site safety officer when one is not specifically assigned to the project. Fill out JSAs daily.
• Interface with Project Site Manager.
• Manage construction tasks including operation of heavy machinery such as skid steer, backhoe, excavator, compactor etc. Oversee general carpentry and concrete tasks.
• Safely and efficiently perform general construction functions with various types of hand tools and small power tools.
• Construct concrete forms, lay out and tie rebar according to drawings.
• Place and finish concrete.
• Maintain any and all equipment and tools on the jobsite.

Minimum Requirements :

Physical requirements : Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, seeing, reading, and reaching to perform everyday job tasks. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
