Assistant Project Manager
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing subcontractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with the project team and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Schedule subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Communicate with the project team regarding ASI's, RFI's, and Material Submittals.
- Ensure that subcontractors fully execute and comply with their contracted scope of work.
- Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
- Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
- Maintain a daily log of activities on the jobsite.
- Ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team.
- Walk all units on the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
- Schedule and conduct weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate the work.
- Communicate issues of non-compliance to subcontractors regarding quality of work or scheduling.
- Ensure that the job site is kept in a clean and organized manner.
- Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
Essential Skills
5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, particularly in commercial or multi-family housing projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Autodesk Build, and Smartsheet.Basic computer skills for entering time and communication by email.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school education or equivalent.Successful completion of OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-hour courses is preferred.Work Environment
This is an office-based role with occasional local and regional travel required, approximately 10% of the time for site visits. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that encourages innovation and growth. The office is located in a great space in the heart of Louisville and features teams within all departments to foster mentorship and collaboration.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $44.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
