Salary : $135,000 - $210,000 per year

Job Details

Responsibilities :

Review complex tax credit studies for accuracy and legal compliance

Analyze contracts and business records to ensure adherence to tax regulations

Conduct legal research and draft technical memos on tax law issues

Prepare and manage responses to IRS and state audits, including appeals

Collaborate cross-functionally to develop quality assurance processes for new tax programs

Lead and mentor audit staff, ensuring alignment with company standards and goals

Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management within the QA / Audit department

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related area of study

8+ years of relevant tax experience

5+ years in a senior leadership role managing audit teams

CPA or JD required; LLM preferred

Experience with IRS audit procedures, tax credit studies, and legal research tools
