Job Description

Video and Scenic Projections Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 AM-10 : 05 PM in the Spring semester. Additional design / mentorship opportunities may present themselves as needed.

Primary Purpose

Duties and responsibilities as presented are intended to be representative and not restrictive. The District reserves the right to modify the assignment and allocation of duties in accordance with operational needs.

The award of all degrees must be verifiable on a legible transcript. If degree award date is not posted on transcript your application will be deemed incomplete and removed from consideration. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline and two years of professional experience OR
• Associate degree in any discipline and six years of professional experience OR
• Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area. OR
• The equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee. $1572.67 - $1725.85 per lecture unit rate, $1572.67 - $1725.85 per lab parity unit rate, $1258.16 - $1380.60 per lab unit rate

Special Instructions Summary

This recruitment will remain active for a period of one year, from the position opening date. If there is no longer a need to fill, the position may be closed sooner, and applicants will be notified. This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis. When the need to fill arises, the department will refer to this pool of part-time faculty.
