Project Manager - Multi-Family Construction Kansas City Area
Our client is a reputable, General Contractor in the Greater Kansas City area. Founded 25+ years ago, they specialize in the commercial and multi-family spaces. Due to growth in the pipeline, they are looking to bring on an experienced and dedicated Project Manager (with multifamily and / or commercial project experience) to join the team. This individual will be essential to their work / projects and long-term growth of the organization!
Job Description
- Overseeing scheduling, budgets, documentation, etc. of project from beginning to end
- Ability to hire, train, develop and manage a team of Project Managers by providing intentional and proactive leadership
- Oversee the management of successful construction projects
- Prepare and analyze bids
- Preparing reports on construction progress and cost for clients
- Be client-facing and maintain the client relationship
- Negotiate, award, and administer all subcontractors, purchase orders, and change orders on construction projects
- Travel to job site 1-2 days a week
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering preferred but not requiredExperience on mid to large size projects5+ years of experience preferredAbility to hire, train, and develop a team of Project ManagersPreconstruction experienceProficient in ProCore, Bluebeam, CMIC preferredInterpersonal communicationAbility to adapt to ensure project successProficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft ProjectsWhat's on Offer
A competitive base salary between $100,000-$140,000 (Depending on Experience)Competitive bonus structure, project / profit based.
