Job Summary
As a Nursing Assistant (NA) , you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include :
Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).Understanding and addressing the physical and psychological needs of residents as per their care plans.Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.Facilitating safe transfers and mobility for residents.Creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks.Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes in condition to the charge nurse.Supporting wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident participation.Qualifications
We’re looking for passionate individuals who meet the following criteria :
High school diploma or GED preferred.Minimum age of 16.Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is a plus.Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of starting.Completion of yearly competency testing and continuing education credits.For applicable states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry.Must possess a valid driver’s license if classified as a Sanford Category II Driver.Benefits
