Overview

EnSiteUSA is seeking candidates for a Survey Party Chief to work locally in our Houston, Texas location who can also be available to travel to various client locations in the Greater Houston / Southeast Texas region.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the field crew and maintain records for the pipeline survey.
  • Utilize GPS and conventional survey methods; document and manage field data.
  • Support pipeline construction practices and coordinate with project teams.
  • Proficient with GPS electronic survey data collection units and conventional survey equipment.
  • Configure pipeline easements, temporary work space, and additional temporary work space as needed.
  • Stake for clearing and related survey activities as required by projects.

Qualifications

  • Local to the Greater Houston area; willingness to travel to project locations within the region.
  • Experience with GPS and conventional survey techniques.
  • Familiarity with pipeline construction practices and easement configuration.
  • Proficient in using GPS data collection units and conventional surveying equipment.
  • Ability to stake for clearing and support related survey tasks.

    • Location & Travel

    Position based in Houston, TX with occasional travel to project sites in the Greater Houston / Southeast Texas area. Per diem will be paid for eligible jobs meeting IRS travel guidelines.
