Benefits Administrator

The Benefits Administrator will interact with employees in all areas of company benefits including fielding questions pertaining to wellness programs, disability policies, and vendor platforms.

Responsibilities

Provide support to HR Business Partners for all benefit and leave inquiries

Work with vendors to ensure effective communication of all company offered Health and Welfare benefits

Participate in annual Open Enrollment program to ensure a high-quality experience for the employees, accuracy of enrollment, and timely completion before the enrollment deadline

Communicate relevant deadlines to employees regarding benefits

Provide employees with information on available health and welfare plans and be able to answer basic questions on our benefit offerings

Support employees using our self-service vendor platforms, including ADP, Health Equity / Wage Works

Assist in resolving employee questions and issues with vendors, while maintaining HIPPA-mandated privacy and security

Assist with internal programs that support mental and physical health

Assist with New Hire Benefit Orientations

Stay current on changing Federal and State regulatory, compliance, and legislation changes that may affect employee benefits. Make recommendations to HR management for improvements

Provide reporting and basic analysis of employee data

Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

2-3 years of experience in a Benefit-related area

HR Certifications; SPHR, PHR and GBA preferred but not required

Exercises judgment within defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for achieving department goals

Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Professionally communicate both internally and externally with individuals at all levels of the organization

The ability to handle difficult situations involving health care coverage and maintain confidentiality

Analyze and comprehend both numerical and written data
