Cardiology Physician

Join a dynamic team in Lancaster, PA, as a locum tenens cardiologist at a state-of-the-art medical facility. You'll be responsible for providing expert care in the Cath Lab, TEE procedures, inpatient rounding, and Heart Alert on-call coverage. This position offers a varied schedule with daytime shifts from Monday to Friday and on-call responsibilities extending into the night and weekend. Key Details - Assignment Type : Locum Tenens- Setting : Hospital- Start Date : ASAP- Schedule : - Monday-Friday : Cath Lab, TEE, inpatient rounding during the day; Heart Alert on-call from 5 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 AM - Saturday-Sunday : Inpatient rounding during the day; Heart Alert coverage until 8 : 00 AM Monday- Patient Population : Adult- Location : Lancaster, PA- Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits - Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)- Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities - Perform cardiac catheterizations and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)- Provide inpatient rounding- Manage Heart Alert on-call coverage- Ensure high-quality patient care and safety Qualifications - Board Certified in Cardiology- Active ACLS and PALS certifications- Fellowship in cardiology preferred Working Hours - Monday-Friday, daytime shifts with nighttime on-call duties- Weekend daytime rounding and extended Heart Alert coverage Skills - Proficiency in cardiac procedures and inpatient care- Strong communication and patient interaction skills- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
