Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Eligible). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

Full Time available at a R&D site in Niskayuna NY

All days / shifts available

Must Have :

5+ years of guard experience required OR 2+ years of military, LEO, or corrections OR Associate Degree in Criminal Justice OR Any bachelor's degree or higher education

Full-Time - All Days - Shifts : 7a-3p, 6a-6p, 7a-6p and 3p-11p Pay Rate $25.00 per hour ($20.00 per hour training rate) with DailyPay available

Responsibilities :

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and / or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations
