Responsibilities
- Lead the complete management of the commercial contracts lifecycle, ensuring compliance with GBO business and legal standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Legal, and Finance stakeholders, providing guidance on contract structures, risk mitigation, and negotiation strategies.
- Streamline and optimize contract workflows and governance, identifying process bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor and respond to Canadian tenders, US government bids, and customer RFPs.
- Collaborate with executive leaders to align contract terms with GBO's revenue and customer strategies, balancing commercial agility with risk management.
- Analyze contract data to generate actionable insights, forecast business trends, and make recommendations to leadership.
- Champion the adoption and continuous improvement of digital contract management tools and CRM platforms to enhance visibility and efficiency.
- Lead process improvement initiatives by defining best practices for commercial terms, redlining standards, and internal approvals.
- Ensure all contract activities comply with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct GPO compliance reporting to verify and validate contract optimization and opportunities.
- Edit and write SOPs, ensuring Pricing and Sales Analysts are trained and follow SOP guidelines regarding pricing and contract governance.
- Make decisions on GPO and Contract customer activations in accordance with GPO contractual terms.
- Process and submit approved GPO amendments.
- Provide training and support to sales and customer service teams on pricing policies, contract terms, and negotiation techniques.
- Handle additional projects related to sales contract pricing, including assisting with business reviews and providing necessary reports for pricing / sales analysis.
Your Profile
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, commercial operations, or legal operations, with progressively increasing responsibilities.Demonstrated success leading or scaling contract management functions within high-growth healthcare manufacturing environments.Expertise in GPO contracting, healthcare & life science business models, and industry regulations.Skilled in contract analytics, workflow optimization, and contract lifecycle management systems.Strong business acumen with a track record of aligning contract strategy to organizational revenue goals.Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication abilities.Proven ability to excel in fast-paced, matrixed organizations and to deliver results under tight deadlines.We provide equal opportunities for everyone and see diversity as our strength.
