Title : Manager of Sales Operations
Reports to : Vice President of Operations
Location : North Sioux City, SD or other Sterling locations.
Job Description : The Manager of Sales Operations at Sterling Computers will oversee the operational aspects of the sales department to drive growth and ensure seamless sales processes. This role demands a highly analytical leader with strong business acumen, superb organizational skills, and the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in sales operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience as a successful Manager of Sales Operations or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize sales processes and implement sales technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Primary Responsibilities :
Lead implementation of sales strategies and processes, analyze trends, and identify growth opportunities.Design and refine sales processes to enhance efficiency, track performance metrics, and ensure high-quality customer interactions. This includes the software sales and renewals process, hardware refresh process, and consumption sales and renewals process.Collaborate with sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts and plans.Collaborate with Sales Leadership and IT to implement and manage sales automation tools and AI integration to streamline operations and drive data-driven decision-making.Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Work closely with other departments, including marketing, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment of sales operations with overall business objectives.Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales and other departments.Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions, forecast, and measure success against KPIs.Create and present detailed reports on sales performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.Sterling Computers Corporation (“Sterling”) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
