We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team on a contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing property administration while supporting affordable housing operations. This position is ideal for someone with a background in property management and a passion for working in the non-profit sector.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the daily management of residential and commercial properties, ensuring smooth operations and tenant satisfaction.
- Handle leasing processes, including inquiries, applications, and lease agreements.
- Conduct tax recertification procedures for affordable housing units and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Utilize Yardi software to manage property records, financial transactions, and tenant information.
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Communicate effectively with tenants to address concerns and provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare reports related to property performance, occupancy, and financial metrics.
- Support the enforcement of lease terms and property rules to maintain a safe and functional environment.
- Manage administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with the property management team to implement strategies for maximizing occupancy and revenue.
- Proven experience in property management, with a focus on residential or commercial properties.
- Familiarity with affordable housing regulations and tax recertification processes.
- Proficiency in using Yardi software for property administration and financial management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle various property-related tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with tenants and team members.
- Ability to manage leasing processes and maintain accurate documentation.
- Knowledge of maintenance coordination and property upkeep.
- Background in the non-profit sector is a plus, but not required.
