Comprehensive Food Safety is a leader in providing expert consulting, auditing, and training solutions for the dynamic food industry. We partner with both regional and national accounts-from food processing plants and retail establishments to distributors-to help them navigate ever-changing regulations and business needs. As a Regional Account Executive, your primary responsibility is to prospect and sell new qualified clients. You will engage with a diverse range of food and beverage processing market segments, including food processing plants, retail food establishments, food distribution, pharmaceuticals and members of the food service industry.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions :

  • Cold calling and prospecting for new business opportunities
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of CFS services, solutions and offerings
  • Represent yourself and the company brand as a premium provider of food safety consulting, auditing and training solutions
  • Writing and presentation of sales proposals

Experience; Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED, college preferred
  • A Bachelors degree is a plus
  • 2-5+ years of experience in Business to Business outside sales
  • Food safety knowledge
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer competency, including familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Home office with access to Internet
  • Experience in generating sales through cold calling and prospecting
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Previous negotiation and presentation skills
  • Experience selling into multiple market segments
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record search
  • Base Pay Range Yearly : $65,000.00 - $70,000.00
  • While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
