Location : Chattanooga, TN 37405 – near The Rosecomb on 921 Barton Ave

Preferred start date : October 20th, 2025

Lesson format : Face-to-face, in-person

Details

Availability : Wednesday, between 9 : 00 am and 12 : 00 pm (EST)

Lesson Frequency : 1 time per week

Lesson Duration : 1 hour each

Current level : Low beginner

Native / other languages : German (native), Polish

Goals :

Learn English for daily communication

Build confidence to interact with others in the community

Responsibilities

Deliver structured beginner-level lessons with a focus on communication

Incorporate role-play and real-life scenarios to practice everyday English

Support vocabulary building, listening comprehension, and speaking confidence

Provide homework or practice activities to reinforce learning

Adapt lessons based on student progress and needs

Qualifications

Native or near-native proficiency in English

Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, linguistics, or related field

Experience teaching adults preferred

Ability to create a supportive and motivating learning environment
