Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. QualificationsEducation : High School Diploma or equivalent required.Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or MRI Technologist program, with completion of required clinical hours.Bachelor’s degree preferred.Experience : Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or recent graduate of a bachelor's degree program.Licensure / Certifications : ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.Must hold at least one advanced registry in MRI and be actively working in the modality.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.Skills & Knowledge : Proficient in IV insertion.Strong technical skills in medical imaging, including cross-sectional anatomy and 3D imaging.Ability to operate MRI scanners, power injectors, imaging workstations, and related computer systems.Working Conditions : Frequent standing and walking.Ability to lift, move, and transport patients and manipulate imaging equipment.Must be able to adapt to fast-paced and potentially stressful situations. We’re bringing to life a healing ministry through compassionate care.At Mercy, our supportive community will be behind you every step of your day, especially the tough ones.
