Staff Accountant

Location : Mayfield Heights, OH

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Tracking and coordinating activity of mortgage lines of credit
  • Record revenue from purchased mortgage loans
  • Daily reporting to management of mortgage loan activity
  • Monthly journal entries, accruals, and allocations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Account analysis
  • Maintain schedules to analyze and track budgeted expenses
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close
  • Other duties as requested

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Computer skills : Microsoft Excel, Word, Dynamics GP, and Encompass a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidentiality
  • Timeliness in meeting deadlines
  • Critical thinking and problem solving ability
