We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part-Time Dance / Cheer Instructor to join our afterschool mentoring program. The ideal candidate will inspire and empower students in grades 2 through 5 through dance and cheer instruction, fostering creativity, teamwork, and self-confidence. This role combines technical skill-building with mentorship to create a fun and inclusive environment where students can grow both on and off the floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging dance and cheer classes tailored to the developmental levels of 2nd-5th grade students.
• Teach fundamental techniques, choreography, and routines in dance and cheerleading.
• Create an encouraging and inclusive atmosphere that builds students' confidence and teamwork skills.
• Develop and implement performance opportunities, such as showcases or events, to highlight students’ progress.
• Collaborate with the mentoring team to integrate life skills and character-building into sessions.
• Monitor and assess student participation, ensuring individual growth and program engagement.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment, adhering to organizational policies and guidelines.
