Client Solutions Trust Administrator Private Wealth

At Regions, the Client Solutions Trust Administrator Private Wealth is responsible for serving as trustee and advisor to existing client relationships with Trusts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Natural Resources and Real Estate, and Charitable Trusts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and solutions for the development and on-going administration and maintenance of clients' goals and objectives
• Keeps abreast of trends and developments in the trust industry to ensure prudent administration and investment management
• Understands unique, complex trust agreements and appropriately manages accounts in compliance with Regions' capacity and legal and regulatory guidelines
• Determines the financial viability and associated risks of client business
• Understands multi-state specific trust statutes
• Conducts initial administrative and compliance reviews for clients
• Supplies Portfolio Managers with documentation of non-standard asset reviews for Annual Investment reviews
• Provides support and documentation for the investment review exceptions clearance process
• Facilitates the non-discretionary distribution process
• Facilitates the discretionary distribution process with shared approval authority
• Prepares all discretionary action requests for working group reviews, including but not limited to, termination, non-standard asset acceptance and retention, trust modifications, and real estate improvements
• Supports fee set up and daily cash management
• Takes responsibility for ensuring all accounts comply with applicable internal procedures
• Acts as an expert in trust administration that may include tax minimization strategies, 65-day elections or modifications, 5 x 5 powers, and Charitable Trust distribution percentages
• Coordinates client service activities with other areas of the organization
• Demonstrates solid knowledge and understanding of Regions' products and services, including retirement, investment management, and charitable giving
• Coordinates administrative functions with attorneys, co-trustees, investment advisors, and Certified Public Accountants (CPAs)
• Ensures client activity is appropriately documented in OneView
• Ensures appropriate management of trust account assets, with an awareness to future potential depletion
• May manage complex client relationships

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include : experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target :

Minimum : $50,714.40 USD

Median : $68,550.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans : This job is not incentive eligible.
