As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Rounds in Romeoville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and respond promptly to any situations that arise. Position Type : Part Time

This is a Part Time Position and not eligible for health benefits or 401k

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PMSun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly environment.
  • Assist in controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and observing visitors and employees as required.
  • Document observations, incidents, and / or activities in accordance with company and client requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
