We are seeking a dedicated and conscientious Medication Technician to join our healthcare team for the 3rd shift on a full-time basis. As a Medication Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and wellness of our residents or patients by ensuring the accurate and timely administration of medications.

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Administer medications to residents or patients in accordance with established schedules and healthcare providers' instructions.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration, including dosages, times, and any reactions observed.
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition or side effects and promptly report any concerns to the nursing team.
  • Ensure that all medications are stored securely and handled safely according to regulatory standards.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering of medications and supplies as needed.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to residents or patients, promoting a comfortable and safe environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional care.
  • Qualifications :
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification as a Medication Technician or similar qualification, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in medication administration, is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the dignity and privacy of residents or patients.
