Duty Engineer

A Duty Engineer oversees the operation and maintenance of technicalsystems in a facility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventivemaintenance, and swift response to any mechanical or electrical issues. Responsiblefor the efficient day-to-day operations, maintenance and repair of alltechnical systems within the hotel. Ensures the continuous generation of heat,light, power, ventilation and air-conditioning, steam and water supply in theentire hotel and its premises. Works closely with the Director, Engineering tocarry out other responsibilities assigned to him in accordance with theestablished maintenance program and operation schedule to perform a smoothoperation of the Engineering Department.

Basic Function :

• Determine the root cause of technical issues and provide solutions toensure smooth operation of the facility
• Monitor and maintain all equipment and systems to ensure they areoperating efficiently and effectively
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans and schedules forall equipment and systems
• Manage and supervise a team of technicians and contractors to carry outmaintenance and repair work
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with health andsafety regulations and procedures
• Provide technical support and guidance to other departments andstakeholders
• Prepare reports and documentation on maintenance activities, equipmentperformance, and budget utilization
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to identifyopportunities for improvement and optimize processes and systems

Physical Requirements :
